Rooted in Tahtah, Zagora
For generations our family has lived between the palm groves of the Drâa Valley and the great dunes beyond. Taragalte Park grew from a simple wish: to open our home to travellers and share the desert we love.

Why stay with a family-run camp?
Big desert hotels sell you a bed for the night. A family-run camp like ours welcomes you into daily Saharan life: bread from our sand oven, vegetables from our organic garden, guides who grew up reading dunes, and evenings where the music around the fire is our own, not a show. We live in Tahtah all year, so our advice on seasons, routes and what to pack comes from experience, not brochures. Come as a guest, leave as part of the story.
